Business Intelligence and The Establishment of an Information Democracy
Nov 12, 2008
We’re slowly moving towards a vision of “Information Democracy” – where all users have access to timely and relevant insight to help manage performance and align with the mission of the organization. In spite of this, penetration of usage remains relatively low. Even in well-established markets, less than twenty percent of potential users have been automated with BI or performance management solutions.
In this session we will discuss the impediments to Information Democracy and steps which organizations can take to address them – such as the creation of a BI Center of Excellence.
